As part of the ongoing process of improvement, South Coast Seaweed will be seeking accreditations for its products, environmental impact and service of the coming 3 years so that the customer can be confident that the company is working to the highest standards.
South Coast Seaweed: Sustainable Ocean Farming
Southsea seaweed company was established in 2021 by Andrew Payne-Cook, who saw the potential of aquaculture after seeing the amazing effects from carbon reduction in our coastal waters in other areas. He decided to base his operation in Southsea. We will be a truly carbon negative company as the operation in its normal cycle of business will not only remove carbon and Nitrates from our waters we will assist with the reforestation of the kelp that once flourished along our coast. Starting small we hope to become one of top ten supplier in the UK.
