Who is Andrew Payne-Cook?

I moved to Southsea 8 years ago after growing up in Yorkshire. Living next to the sea was a new way of life for me and one that suits who I am.

After working in the oil fuel industry for the past 12 years I realised it was no longer for me. I wanted to live a more outdoor, cleaner life that incorporated more environmentally friendly ethos. With this in mind looked at my options. After many walks down the beach the lightbulb moment came the day after a huge storm washed up tonnes on seaweed. I had heard of seaweed farms but only in other countries. I researched what was required to grow this amazing natural resource and everything required was right here on my doorstep! Being able to work with sea means that i can repay my debt to the environment by removing carbon and nitrates with every crop.
